A market for structured knowledge.
Loot.md is where people sell and buy Obsidian vaults — folders of markdown notes, plus the wikilinks, tags, and frontmatter that make them useful as a second brain or as raw material for an AI agent.
The thesis
Most digital goods you can buy online are static files. Templates, stock photos, pre-built Notion pages — assets you drop into your tool and forget about. A vault is different: it's a graph. The links between notes are as valuable as the notes themselves. Drop a well-built research vault into Obsidian and it turns into a working knowledge system overnight.
Buyers spend 40+ hours setting up a serious Obsidian workflow. A vault collapses that to minutes. Sellers — domain experts who've already done the work — get a place to monetize the structure they built for themselves.
What we sell
Personal libraries, niche knowledge bases, prompt collections, research workflows, language-learning systems, RAG-ready datasets, starter templates for specific professions — anything that's better off as a graph of markdown files than a PDF or a Notion page.
Every listing carries vault stats (note count, word count, tags, folders, wikilinks) so buyers know exactly what they're getting before they pay. Browse the catalogue.
Built quietly
Loot.md is a Romanian SRL run on a deliberately small infrastructure stack — Next.js, Supabase, Stripe Connect, Cloudflare R2. We charge a flat 10% on each sale. No listing fees, no subscriptions, no featured-vault upsells, no take-rate tiers. The full breakdown lives on pricing & fees.
Boring on purpose
We pass through Stripe's processing fees transparently. We support manual IBAN payouts for sellers in countries Stripe doesn't reach. We're DAC7-compliant from day one — full tax reporting, no tricks. EU buyers get the full 14-day digital-content withdrawal right unless they explicitly waive it. We don't sell visibility, we don't mark up payment processing, and we don't hide rules in fine print.
